Music Makers NY's Premier Adult Band Ensemble Program will enhance your understanding of how a band works.  We’ll break down each song in detail, stretch out, learn beginnings & endings, and refine solos, rhythms, patterns & leads.  You’ll gain control over sound and technique, go over individual parts & combine them to create a better band sound.  Learn different ways to approach a song while gaining confidence as a player.  Play & learn from an advanced-level instructor.  Each participant receives access to our student portal where you'll be able to access all class materials.

Don't see the class you want? Not sure which class is right for you? Have a scheduling conflict? email musicmakersnewyork@gmail.com or call 212-967-6124. We'll Make It Happen!

Step into the golden age of guitar gods, swirling organ solos, and vocals that roared through stadiums and dive bars alike. Electric Haze channels the raw power and soulful swagger of the late '60s and early '70s—when rock was loud, loose, and laced with blues. This workshop is a tribute to soaring leads, locked-in grooves, and extended jams that leave room to breathe and burn.

From basement shows to festival stages, Flannel & Feedback captures the gritty heart of grunge, post-punk, and alternative rock’s explosive rise. These were the anthems of a generation—loud, honest, and unapologetically raw. Expect fuzzy tones, cathartic choruses, and unpredictable shifts from whisper to scream. Whether you’re channeling the angst of the early '90s or its dreamy, jagged edges, this is where vulnerability meets volume.

Artists: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, R.E.M., Hole, Pixies, Radiohead (early), Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Sonic Youth, Live, The Cure, The Smiths, Joy Division, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Psychedelic Furs, Jane’s Addiction, The Cranberries, Blur, and more.
