Blues within Jazz W. Baden Goyo
This class will explore the differences between playing blues in a rock/folk context and playing it within a jazz framework. We will explore the characteristics that make the blues sound different in jazz music and will work on these elements one by one in order to incorporate those sounds into our playing. The focus will be on the harmonic changes and how it will provide the basic tools to improvise with a jazzy flavor. It's a great opportunity as a first approach to jazz music. All blues lovers are welcome to this workshop even if you don't have any experience with jazz before! Instructor: Baden Goyo
